Adidas Suffering Potential Data Breach – Millions of Customer Data May have been Exposed

Adidas Announced potential data breach on their customer data and millions of U.S Customers data who shopped from its website possibly exposed.

Thursday Adidas said possible security breach may have put some of its customers’ data at risk.

In this case, leaked data includes contact information, like addresses and email addresses, as well as login information, but not financial or fitness information.

Attackers always finding new ways to compromise the target websites and extract data and other valuable information such as payment card data and personal identification number includes Name Address, Email address, Telephone number.

Adidas said that credit-card information and fitness data were likely not affected by the breach.

The company first became aware of the issue on June 26, but did not reveal that when the breach is believed to have occurred.

Adidas says it is conducting a forensic review and is alerting customers who could have been affected.

Adidas didn’t say how many customers data may have been exposed, but there are working with experts and find out the root cause of the isse.

Adidas spokeswoman told to Business Insider “Adidas is committed to the privacy and security of its consumers’ personal data. Adidas immediately began taking steps to determine the scope of the issue and to alert relevant consumers. Adidas is working with leading data security firms and law enforcement authorities to investigate the issue”
