The official announcement of FreeBSD 11.0 release is scheduled for September 28, 2016. The Release builds began on September 22, 2016 and these mirrors have started to appear on FTP.

As FreeBSD 11.0 isn’t officially released, the Release Notes aren’t available. For those who are interested, on FreeBSD website, there is a list of informal changes which are considered important and interesting for the users. The list contains various architecture changes, new hardware support, networking improvements, better kernel support etc.
It should be noted that these mirrors might not work if you try freebsd-update command to upgrade your system.
