Mark Zuckerberg Teaches How Repeat Loops Work In Programming

Short Bytes: Today I’m sharing an old video from 2013 that features Mark Zuckerberg teaching the basics of repeat loops. This video was a part of Code.org’s Learn To Code movement and is worth a watch.

With its Learn To Code movement, Code.org is working to ensure that everyone learns basic programming logic and it aims to do so from the very start.

To kickstart its program few years ago, Code.org took help from the likes of Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg. While Bill Gates shared some wisdom regarding ‘if’ statements, Mark Zuckerberg explained the ‘repeat’ loops.

It’s amusing to see Facebook CEO explaining the repeat loops. “One thing that computers are really good at is repeating commands,” says the tech giant CEO, in his small guest lecture on repeat loops.

He explains how sending an email to everyone on Facebook would take him a century but loops make this job easier.

Later in the video, he takes the example of Angry Birds. Well, I won’t spoil everything and let you listen to Zuckerberg’s explanation:
