How Belgians Trolled And Confused ISIS Terror Threats With Cat Pictures On Twitter

Short Bytes:
Belgian people have found a new weapon to deal with the terror threats in the form of cat pics. As police didn’t want people to tweet pictures of the recent police operation, Belgians responded with cat pictures to send a message to terrorists and confuse them.

Tweeting cat pictures is the last thing someone would do when police has issued a lockdown request in the wake of of an anti-terrorist operation happening in the city. But, Belgians did it and they did it in the coolest way possible.

Belgians did follow the police guidelines to defuse the tension, but they defied the terror threat using the #BrusselsLockdown hashtag and Cats, the animal that rules the internet.

As people were restricted to tweet the officers’ movements online, on Sunday night, Twitter users started posting pictures and videos of cats, to confuse the terrorists.
