Back in January, Microsoft first showed off the Internet Explorer successor – Project Spartan. The new browser is expected to offer greater speed and a lightweight option to the users. This was unveiled at the Windows 10 event where Microsoft revealed advanced features like a brand new smooth interface, reading mode, a new rendering engine, inking support and Cortana integration.

Till now, all these features were kind of a mystery and the Windows users were restless to get a glimpse of the codenamed browser for Windows 10. But, wait no more. WinBeta, a website covering latest Microsoft news, got a copy of the Spartan Browser and made a video demo.

Cortana integration is one of the most looked up to features and the reason is visible in the video. Cortana jumps/moves in the address bar when it finds additional information about a site. The video shows how Cortana works seamlessly and provides, directions, addresses and even the opening hours for retail stores. Using the “ask Cortana” feature, you can get the best of it.

WinBeta writes that Windows 10 Spartan browser is expected to be an excellent browser with a clean, modern and easy to use interface. Spartan looks like a cross of Chrome, Firefox and IE11, and it encompasses the best of these.

Yesterday, Microsoft revealed that the next Windows 10 build will have Spartan Browser. This new preview is expected to be rolled out by the end of this month.
