How To Access Windows 10 Sticky Notes From Anywhere?

Sticky Notes has been with us for a long period of time. Not only because of the short time it takes to take notes on the app, but also for its simplified design and easy navigation.

With Windows 10 October Update 2018, Microsoft added the ability to save previous notes in Sticky Notes app. Even more, the company promised to bring the Sticky Notes Android application for syncing our notes across all platforms.

The whereabouts of the Android app is still unknown, but in the meantime, Microsoft has launched an equally exciting thing for us – Sticky Notes for the Web. As the name suggests, Sticky Notes can now be accessed on the web too.

Not only can you read all your notes, but also edit, save, format the text and much more. Basically, everything that you used to do with the Sticky Notes Windows Store app can now be accomplished on the web too. Let’s see how to use Sticky Notes on the Web —

How to Setup Windows 10 Sticky Notes For Web?

  1. First, head over to the Sticky Notes app on Windows 10
  2. Click on the Setting icon on the top-right.
  3. Login With Your Microsoft Account.
  4. Now go to this Microsoft One Note website.
  5. Login With Your Microsoft Account.
  6. That’s it! Now you will see all your notes that you made through Sticky Notes.

The functionality of the Sticky Notes Web version is pretty much the same. Create new notes via clicking on the ‘+’ icon; search for notes in the search bar; format the text with the formatting tools down below.

Different color schemes are still available. However, I am not sure of the “Dark Mode,” which I recently witnessed in the latest Windows Insider Build. Overall, the Web version works just like the Sticky Notes Windows Store app. With the help of its Web version, you can also use it on your smartphone. Simply open any Android browser and follow the steps mentioned above.

Sticky Notes is trying to get into every platform, so it’s pretty apparent that Google Keep for Android is ready to give it a tough competition. Not to mention other note-taking apps that are already optimized for every platform like EverNote, ColorNote, etc.
