The meme, GIF and parody culture of the Internet appears to be more apparent for sweeping the popularity of TV shows like “Breaking Bad,” “House of Cards” and “Game of Thrones” than anything else. Even the programming community is finding ways to riff on the cultural lightning rods these series have become, and what results are homages like the parody trailers made for JavaZone 2014.
This year’s JavaZone 2015 will take place in Oslo, September 9th–10th 2015.
The community-driven conference JavaZone 2015 for modern Java Developers will be witnessing more than 2,500 fellow developers at one of Europe’s biggest Java-conferences. Some do it as speakers, some as participants, and some as student volunteers. Every JavaZone attendee is unique, but they all have one thing in common: the passion for knowledge and the desire to learn new things. JavaZone 2015 will feature around 200 speakers and will strive to create the unique experience all modern Java developers truly deserve.
JavaZone 2014 took place on September 9th–11th 2014 and featured 6000 minutes of free learning bundled up with 90 presentations and almost 60 lightning talks.

You might remember the funny parodies JavaZone releases every year. Last year, votes were open for a parody of Game of Thrones, House of Cards or Breaking Bad. They released a sneak peek for each of the parodies. Last year’s international Java conference featured a full-length satirical episode parodying one of the three shows, opening up the trailers for voting to decide which one. The parodies weren’t particularly clever—quite the opposite in fact. But the creators knew exactly what they were doing. “Game of Codes,” “House of Codes” and “Writing Bad” are nothing if not entertaining. So without further ado:
