iPhone SE 2 With A13 Bionic Coming in Early 2020: Report

Apple is planning to launch the second generation of the iPhone SE in the Q1 of 2020, according to renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Reportedly, the iPhone SE 2 will fall on the affordable range, however, it would still include the latest A13 processor with 3GB of RAM.

Previous rumors have suggested that iPhone SE 2 will look a lot like the iPhone 8 and would probably feature the exact 4.7-inch LCD display with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

Why buy iPhone SE 2?

Apple fans who have missed the 4-inch form factor of iPhones would definitely feel tempted to buy the iPhone SE 2. Moreover, iPhone 6 and below users will finally have a shot at using Apple’s latest iOS 13 while not having to upgrade to $449 iPhone 8.

Feature-rich iOS 13 that came out last month requires an iPhone 6s or above. Interestingly, Apple is currently selling only the iPhone 8 and the latest iPhone 11 models.

Even if a user thinks of buying an iPhone 6S or earlier from the left out stocks, he will have to deal with the old processor and the bent-prone aluminum body.

iPhone SE 2 Price

iPhone SE, before going out of production, sold at $349 for the 32 GB variant. While no one knows the exact pricing of the second-generation iPhone SE, we can assume that it would range between $350-$400. Most likely, it won’t go beyond the current $450 price tag of the iPhone 8.

Other than including the new processor and 3GB RAM, it’s unclear that if the iPhone SE 2 will really follow the 4-inch scheme. But if it does, it would make many Apple fans extremely happy.
