Yesterday my friend reminded me that September 30th is Orkut‘s last day. It took me back in time when I stopped using Orkut and jumped upon the Facebook bandwagon.
Orkut introduced me to social networking. So remembering that time and embarrassing but funny things we did on Orkut, I’ve compiled this list of some funny gifs:
1. First time we used the term DP – Display Picture…
2. Showing off our bio by writing long and copied text but still trying to get a unique one…
3. We didn’t use our own names as screen names because they weren’t cool enough or funny….
4. Scraps were everywhere, literally everywhere…
5. You became my ‘Fan’, and I became yours….
6. And there were tons of friendship requests…..
7. Spams became common soon and then it was all cluttered and irritating…
8. Fake Accounts too were in abundance and everyone seemed to have one…
9. How can we forget begging our friends, “please write me a testimonial”….
10. Stalking : Okay, everyone did it…
11. I’ll admit that I didn’t know anything about a lot of communities but still I joined them because they were popular…
