List Of Huawei/Honor Devices Getting EMUI 10 (Android 10 Update)

Huawei, the second-largest smartphone maker in the world, has updated its roadmap for the upcoming EMUI 10 – its new software update based on Android 10. The company initially announced the list of devices getting EMUI 10 update at the IFA event held in Berlin. Back then, only 13 Huawei devices were a part of it.

Now, the company has released an updated timeline, adding 20 more devices that will receive the EMUI 10 update.

Huawei Devices Receiving EMUI 10 (Android 10) Update

Huawei hasn’t announced the date on which it will initiate the global rollout of Android 10-based EMUI 10. The following is the schedule for Chinese variants. Similar to its rival Oxygen OS, EMUI 10 will be released in open-beta and closed-beta for different Huawei devices.

Difference Between Closed Beta & Open Beta

Now that you know about the release schedule of EMUI 10 for Huawei and Honor devices, you must be confused between open beta and closed beta updates. To clear the air, when a software update is released in closed beta, it is available only for selected users. Usually, users need to sign-up and must be approved by the company releasing the software update to receive it.

Open beta, on the other hand, is available for the general public and can be downloaded by anyone.

What’s new In EMUI 10?

EMUI 10 for Huawei (and Honor devices) brings some exciting features to the table. Some of the worth-mentioning additions to EMUI 10 are Dark Mode, swift and smooth animations, an improved user interface in the default camera app, and other Android 10 features.
