Redmi Note 7 And Redmi Note 7 Pro Launched In India

Xiaomi has finally unveiled Redmi Note 7 Pro in India at an event held in New Delhi today. Notably, this is the first Redmi phone from Xiaomi that has been launched under the “Redmi” brand.

The main USP of Redmi Note 7 Pro is the dual camera setup which has a whopping 48MP primary camera powered by the Sony IMX586 sensor. Along with that, there is also a 5MP secondary lens for giving the depth effect to the pictures.

The device holds a massive 6.3-inch edge-to-edge display with 19:5:9 ratio. As for the internals, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 AIE processor with Adreno 512 GPU.

The new Redmi device excels in the design part as well. It comes with the new Aura design which gives a glossy look to the glass back of the device.

Following the notch trend in budget phones, Redmi Note 7 Pro also comes with a dot notch that houses a 13MP selfie camera. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back and the phone also supports facial recognition.

The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 tech. Another cool thing about the Redmi Note 7 Pro is that it runs on the latest MIUI based Android 9 Pie.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is priced at INR 13,999 (4GB/64GB) and INR 16,999 (6GB/128GB). It will be available from 13 March at the Mi and Flipkart Store. With the given pricing Redmi phones are going to be a game-changer in the budget smartphone segment.

Xiaomi also unveiled Redmi Note 7 at the event. Unlike the Pro variant, the device comes a Snapdragon 660 core and 12MP+2MP camera module. The rest of the specifications remain the same as Redmi Note 7 Pro.

The Redmi Note 7 is priced at INR 9,999 (3GB/32GB) and INR 11,999 (4GB/64GB). The Redmi Note 7 will be made available on Flipkart on 6th March.

While other smartphones in this price segment such as Realme C1, Samsung Galaxy M20 are doing pretty well, none of them holds a 48MP camera, making Redmi Note 7 Pro stand out of the crowd.
