Android Creator Andy Rubin Allegedly Ran A “Sex Ring”

While Android co-founder Andy Rubin gave us the world’s most popular operating system, i.e., Android, he is apparently not the ideal guy we wished for. And that’s not me saying it — the recently made public documents say so.

It is suggested that the San Mateo Superior Court recently unveiled a complaint filed by Rubin’s ex-wife, Rie Hirabaru Rubin, which throws light on how Andy Rubin and his lawyer forcefully made his wife sign a prenup prior to their wedding when she was pregnant.

The pre-nuptial agreement refrained Rie Rubin from making the most of the monetary gains Rubin was accustomed to. The wealth even involved the $150 million package that Google gave to Andy Rubin on his exit from Google back in 2014.

As a reminder, the money was paid in installments and the last one was completed just last year in October.

However, the humungous exit package received by Andy Rubin hides behind (Google helped in hiding it) it the alleged truth about his exit; he had to leave Google as he was accused of sexual misconduct with a former employee, with whom he had an extra-marital affair. Additionally, Rubin never told his wife of all the money he received from Google.

Coming back to the current allegation, Andy Rubin’s wife now seeks to get the agreement annulled and get part of his $350 million net worth.

This isn’t where all this stops; the complaint further reveals that Rubin had various mistresses and also had an ‘ownership relationship’ with them, wherein he paid them (in around hundreds of thousands of dollars) for being with other men, thus implying at a possible sex ring.

In addition to this, it is suggested that Rubin had maintained a separate account for the money received from Google to pay these other women.

As these are not concrete details, Ellen Stross, one of Andy Rubin’s attorneys, suggested that the allegations are a “garden-variety family law dispute involving a wife who regrets her decision to execute a prenuptial agreement.”

We still need to see what turn this case of deceit takes. Until then, keep reading Fossbytes for further updates.
