One of the famous American global technology company based in Santa Clara, California. Nvidia has been hacked and details of its 400,000 users from official forum have been leaked online by the hackers.

Nvidia is best known for its graphics processing units (GPUs).

According to Nvidia, the breach took place at the beginning of July.

After the security breach, Nvidia has joined the list of hacked giants like Yahoo and LinkedIn, where both of the companies were hacked last month.

According to the Nvidia’s spokesman Bryan Del Rizzo” Unknown hackers stole with an unknown number of passwords from Nvidia’s online forum, which count around 400,000 registered users”.

The stolen passwords had been scrambled using an encryption algorithm, a technique which generally makes it harder for hackers to use the compromised information, Bryan Del Rizzo added.
