Forget 19H1, Microsoft Will Soon Release Windows 10 19H2 Builds

Insiders will soon be able to use the Windows 10 April Update 2019 on their PC, as the company plans to release the RTM build in March. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Microsoft is already working on the next feature update — Windows 10 19H2.

Replying to a tweet, Brandon LeBlanc, program manager on the Windows Insider Program Team, said that we are possibly only a few weeks away from Windows 19H2 build for Skip Ahead users.

This comes just after a tweet from WZor, who spotted the first Windows 10 19H2 build 18823, which could shortly be arriving for Skip Ahead Insider users. WZor is known to keep track of Windows 10 builds and leaks.

Frankly, this isn’t much surprising — Microsoft has been following the same pattern over the years. While Fast ring users get the RTM of a feature update, Skip ahead users are provided the first build of next feature update.

Last year, Redstone 5 builds started pouring in early February, so it’s only natural that we are going to see the first build of Windows 10 19H2 in the next month.

As for people waiting for the Windows 19H1, the stable release would be rolling out in April. The build includes a whole bunch of new features like a sperate Cortana, a new light theme, and more.
