Google Uploads Mind Bending Video Ahead Of Galaxy S20 Launch

Google has posted a teaser video on its Android Instagram page that shows an unending loop of the Android logo moving inside the Galaxy logo and vice-versa.

The video has attracted over 40 thousand views since its upload. In an Instagram post, Google wrote, “Something exciting is just around the corner. See you at Unpacked, @samsungmobile.”

It’s quite common for smartphone companies to post such mysterious messages ahead of official launches, although Google does that less often for obvious reasons.

Google could be hinting at a Galaxy device powered by a stock Android. Still, if we try to decode the video, there appears a white box that might resemble the packaging of some new product. The box is almost a rectangle but appears too small to fit a smartphone as big as Galaxy S20.

Samsung has also uploaded a similar looping video on its Instagram handle, another video that shows a device unfolding below a white cloth. At the same time, rumors are floating around regarding the release of the Galaxy Z flip – having a folding mechanism on the likes of the Moto Razr.

In a folded state, the packaging of the device would look like a small rectangular box. So, Google is most likely hinting at the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip at Samsung’s Unpacked event on January 11.

As per the previous rumors, the Samsung foldable phone is expected to arrive with a 6.7-inch display, Snapdragon 855+, and One UI 2.0 based on Android 10.

Could it be something else?

However, one thing to note is the caption written by Samsung. “The history of photography has a new chapter. Unpacked – Feb 11, 2020. Check the link in our bio to watch the #SamsungEvent,” it reads.

It can’t be said whether the company is talking about the camera capabilities of the upcoming smartphones, or, assuming the least possible, could there be an Android-powered camera in the picture.

Given that nothing is concrete at the moment, we should take all the information with a grain of salt. Anyway, let us know in the comments what you think.
