The online hackavist group Moroccan Ghosts have hacked the official website of International Center of Human Rights, ICHR (humanrightsintl.org). The International Center for Human Rights is a Toronto-based organization dealing with human rights situation around the world specially in Iran.
The hackers contacted me via email explained that reason for hacking this site was to protest against alleged killings of people from Sunni sect by Iranian government. As the deface message in Arabic language explains “We hacked this website cause you did nothing to ” the 8 million Sunni people in AL Ahwaz” who suffers from the Persian colonization.” (The translation was provided by the hacker himself).
The Zone-h mirror shows that ICHR was never being hacked before and has an online cart for donation. However, the hackers told me that they have not touched anything related to funding and online cart on the website.
At the time of publishing this article, the ICHR site was still hacking and displaying the deface page left by the hackers.
