Microsoft Excel Now Lets You Convert Picture Of Table Into Spreadsheet

Back at Ignite Conference last September, Microsoft announced a number of new features for its Office apps. One of the feature “Insert Data from Picture” teased at the event is finally rolling out to users.

The new feature uses Microsoft image-recognition functionality to read a picture’s table data and turn it into an Excel Spreadsheet.

The feature is rolling out on the Excel Android app and shortly will be coming on iOS devices as well.

At the Ignite conference, Microsoft also said that it would be adding new data types such as Stocks and Geography. The Microsoft AI feature turns “single, flat piece of text into an interactive entity.”

Apart from this, Microsoft has also revamped the Office app for Windows 10 users. Along with the user interface changes, there is a cluster of Office apps that you can quickly access right from the Windows 10 Office app itself.

Also, all the relevant document can be seen on the homepage, allowing you to access documents from all apps quickly.
