No, Foxconn CEO Didn’t Have The iPhone 11 In His Hands

All Apple enthusiasts are always on the edge of their chairs when it comes to iPhone leaks. In addition to the existing leaks and rumors, the latest one in the form of a video (with Foxconn CEO holding the alleged iPhone 11) fueled further anticipation. However, to everyone’s disappointment, the device wasn’t what we thought it to be.

According to a tweet by popular tipster Ben Geskin, the smartphone which we mistook for the future iPhone was actually the iPhone XS with a case by Casetify.

Foxconn CEO recently appeared in a video wherein he announced that he would be running for the President of Taiwan. That’s when people thought that the iPhone he was seen holding was the 2019 iPhone 11.

The device in the video attracted eyeballs as it appeared to be a new design and contradicted the ugly-looking rear camera bump that has been rumored to make its entry with the iPhone 11 series.

Here’s the video in case you missed it:

Sadly, it turned out otherwise, and we have to stick to the existing iPhone 11 rumors and wait for the new ones to show up.

For those who have forgotten, the iPhone 11 is likely to share the same front design as the iPhone XS with a notch. However, the rear design could change with a triple-camera module arranged randomly.

The iPhone 11 is expected to sport a 12MP front camera (an increase from the 7MP front camera seen in its predecessors) with improved functionality.

Additionally, the 2019 iPhones (expected to be three in number) are likely to support reverse wireless charging and could come with bumped up batteries.

Just as a reminder, the above-mentioned are not concrete details, and we still need to wait until something official pops up.
