OPPO Reno With Tilted Front Camera And 10x Zoom Unveiled

After numerous leaks and rumors, OPPO has finally made its new Reno series official with the launch of the OPPO Reno in China.

The main highlight of the OPPO Reno is the company’s 10x lossless zoom tech which OPPO announced back at MWC 2019 in February.

Another deemed attraction is the 16MP tilted front snapper, which elevates when the front camera is launched, confirming previous rumors. While the wedge-shaped front camera is weird looking, at least it retracts when the selfie is taken, ensuring easy usage.

Additionally, the smartphone comes with three cameras at the back (48MP8MP13MP). There is also support for AI camera features.

The device comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, and due to the pop-up camera, it sports a 6.6-inch edge-to-edge display.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and comes in three RAM/ROM variants: 6GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB and 8GB/256GB.

The device is backed by a 4,065mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging and runs Android 9.0 Pie.

In addition to this, the OPPO Reno also has a toned-down variant that is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, has a smaller 3,765mAh battery, spans 6.4-inch, and features two rear cameras rated at 48MP and 8MP.

The OPPO Reno high-end variant starts at CNY 3,999 while the base variant starts at CNY 2,999.

While the OPPO Reno’s standard version comes in Nebula Purple, Extreme Night Black, Mist Powder, and Fog Sea Green color variants, the premium version comes in Fog Sea Green and Extreme Night Black colors.
