Samsung Will Launch The Galaxy S10 On Feb 20 In San Francisco

Over the months, we have seen loads of rumors and leaks for the upcoming member in the Samsung Galaxy S series — the Galaxy S10. Now, the device is finally arriving next month, as confirmed by Samsung itself.

Contrary to the rumored MWC launch, Samsung will host its Unpacked event scheduled for February 20 in San Francisco where the S10 will be unveiled.

The event also marks Samsung Galaxy’s 10th anniversary which suggests that apart from the Galaxy S10 series, we might get a couple of more things as an anniversary gift.

While the invite doesn’t reveal much about the new smartphone, past rumors and speculations suggest that the Galaxy S10 will come in a number of variants; the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10 Plus, the Galaxy S10 Lite, and a 5G version of the same.

All the Galaxy S10 variants are expected to feature Samsung’s Infinity-O display with a hole in the display for minimal bezels.

While the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Lite are likely to sport dual cameras at the back and a single selfie snapper, the Galaxy S10 Plus could have three back shooters with two front snappers.

Additionally, it could come with the reverse wireless charging support, much like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro to charge other wireless charging-eligible devices.

However, we still lack concrete details. To get a conclusive idea as to what the new smartphone is like, we need to wait until the February 20 event.

So, stay tuned to this space for more information.
