OnePlus 6T Running On Windows 10 Demos COD: Modern Warfare 2

Ever since Qualcomm introduced an ARM version of Windows 10 that supports Snapdragon processors, developers have fiddled with smartphones to run Windows 10. Earlier this year, we saw a Google Pixel 3 XL running on Windows 10, now a developer has ported the desktop OS to OnePlus 6T.

Interestingly, he also demoed the OnePlus flagship running Modern Warfare 2. In a series of tweets, the developer going by the Twitter handle @NTAuthority posted videos of him porting Windows 10 to OnePlus 6T.

The developer initially ran into the infamous Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) and humorously labeled the device as “6T ? Edition”.

In the next video, he demoed Windows 10’s Ink app running on OnePlus 6T flawlessly.

Next, we saw him loading a URL on what seemed like the Chromium browser.

However, the most interesting and compelling video in the series of tweets showed Call of Duty 2: Modern Warfare running on OnePlus 6T powered by Windows 10. He was able to play the game because of Windows’ built-in x86 emulation compatibility layer.

As evident from the video below, the game was running with low FPS but was playable nonetheless.
