Continuing their annual ritual, Google has announced this year’s names for their Best of 2016 lists for the top trending apps, games, movies, and TV shows hosted on Google Play.
Along with the global lists for best android apps, games, movies, and tv shows, Google has also released various local lists of popular Android apps and games for different regions.
Best Android App of the Year
Google has awarded Prisma as the best app of the year 2016. Prisma uses AI and neural networks to convert regular photos into artworks which flooded people’s Facebook and Instagram profiles a few months ago. The creators claim the Prisma app can use the styles of artists like Pablo Picasso.
