It looks like defacing websites with politically motivated messages has become an old trend since hackers are moving to something bigger. In this case, it’s the radio station transmission. Earlier today, a Twitter user Ed informed HackRead that hackers took over radio transmission of a radio station in Seneca, South Carolina and replaced it with songs against Donald Trump.

The targeted radio station was Sunny 107.9 WFBS-LPFM who acknowledged the hack in a Facebook post revealing that their Internet at the transmitter site was hacked pushing the station to play anti-Trump songs. Another user on Facebook told HackRead that the station played YG and Nipsey Hussle’s FDT (F*** Donald Trump) and Fiona Apple’s “Tiny Hands” song.
Frank Patterson, president of the group that owns WFBS-LPFM stated that the radio station does not take political views and U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and WFBS are working together to fix this situation ASAP. Patterson also revealed that the IP address of the culprit (s) behind this hacking feat has also been captured and forwarded to government authorities and the FCC for prosecution.

This is not the first time when a radio station transmission was hacked with anti-Trump songs. A few days ago, Louisville, Kentucky’s“Crescent Hill Radio WCHQ 100.9 FM” had its transmission hacked for 15 minutes where hackers forced the service to play F*** Donald Trump song.

It must be noted that hackers and hacktivists are always looking for new means of delivering their messages. Last year, electronic traffic signs in the US were being hacked with messages against Trump, Hillary Clinton and in favor of Bernie Senders.
