Samsung Announces Galaxy Note 10 And Note 10+ With Infinity-O Display

At its Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. For the first time, the company has unveiled three different variants of Galaxy Note – Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10+ and Galaxy Note 10+ 5G. The three phones share almost similar specs with differences in screen sizes, camera, RAM and obviously the price.

Design and Display


Galaxy Note 10 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display (2280×1080). It is a nearly bezel-less display which Samsung brands as the Cinematic Infinity Display. The design of the Note 10 already leaked beforehand revealing a single hole punch camera in the center.

The elder sibling Note 10+ has a 6.8-inches Quad HD+ AMOLED display having 3040×1440 resolution. The cut out camera in the center of the screen is available in all three smartphones.

Processor and RAM

The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. Samsung has fitted its latest Exynos 9825 in the trio of the Note 10 models. However, the processor might differ according to the market and carrier.

Note 10+ is powered by 12GB RAM and the same goes for the 5G edition. There are two storage options available in Note 10+ and Note 10+ 5G — 256GB and 512GB. You can extend the memory up to 1TB using an external memory card.

Camera

On the camera front, Note 10 features a triple rear camera setup with an ultra-wide 16MP camera, a wide-angle 12MP, and a 12MP telephoto lens. On the front, is a 10MP F2.2 sensor for clicking selfies.

Note 10+, on the other hand, has a quad-camera setup on the back with an additional DepthVision VGA camera.

Battery

Note 10 is fueled by a 3,500mAH battery and the large-screened Note 10+ carries a 4,300mAH battery. Galaxy Note 10 supports up to 45W fast charging but the smartphones will ship with a 25W charger.

No headphone jack is present in either of the Note 10 variants.

S-Pen


S-Pen or stylus is one of the most highlighting features of Samsung’s Note Series. This year, Samsung has kept the design of the S-Pen more or less the same with a unibody design. The S-Pen offers 10 hours of usage owing to its 350uAh battery.

You can record screen and annotate live with S-Pen now. With Aird Actions feature, you can control the smartphone’s camera, media, and other apps. Another exciting feature is that the S-Pen can now convert handwritten notes into text.

Price and Availability

Samsung Note 10, Note 10+ and Note 10+ 5G will be available in Aura Glow, Aura White and Aura Black from August 23 onwards. Note 10 has been priced at $949.99, Note 10+ starts at $1,099.99 and the 5G Note 10+ will be available at $1,299.99. Pre-orders start on August 8.
