For all the Microsoft Paint fans who have always loved to doodle around in their free time, here’s some good news! After news of Microsoft’s plans to remove Paint from Windows 10, the company has now confirmed that the long-run MS product will be a part of the upcoming Windows 10 update.
Brandon LeBlanc, senior program manager with Microsoft’s Windows Insider Program, confirmed the news via a tweet.
Microsoft Paint will be included with the arrival of version 1903 which is the Windows 10 May 2019 update.

For those who have forgotten, Microsoft, back in 2017, listed MS Paint among the Microsoft apps and features that will be removed or deprecated in a future Windows 10 update.
While Microsoft decided to remove Paint from Windows 10, it wasn’t entirely going dead, as Redmond company confirmed its availability as an app via the Windows Store.
Although Microsoft Paint is not going anywhere, there is no word on more details regarding the decision to keep MS Paint. We are assuming it’s the loyal users’ grief that led Microsoft into not killing Paint.
Additionally, it was previously suggested that the MS Paint tool would be replaced by the improved Paint 3D tool. However, there is no word as to how Microsoft plans to take both the apps forward.
To refresh your memory, MS Paint (initially developed by ZSoft Corporation) has been in existence for 34 years with the arrival of Windows 1.0 in 1985.
