Apple’s CES Ad Hits Google And Amazon Where It Hurts

2018 turned out to be disastrous for many tech giants. It was a year full of not only back-to-back data abuse reports, but also came loaded with new data security laws coming into existence.

This year, Apple has a strong message for Google, Amazon, and other tech companies who rely on sharing our data over many channels.

“What happens on your iPhone, stays on your iPhone,” says a billboard facing the Las Vegas Convention Center. For those who don’t know, this is the same building where this year’s biggest tech conference, CES 2019, will take place.

Consumer Electronics Show is a yearly technology event where hundreds of tech companies come to showcase new products and tech that they have been working on. While Google and other companies actively participate, Apple has always kept a distance.

In its subtle message, Apple has also mentioned the link to its privacy website. Recently, Apple overhauled its entire privacy website to make the users better understand the data policies of iPhones.

Even though the iPhone sales reports are showcasing a downside, it seems like Apple is not ready to give up just yet. Also, considering data privacy has become an important issue, we might see something more from the company in the near future.
