Xiaomi is all in praise for its Redmi K20 Pro smartphone and has put it in the ring directly against the OnePlus 7 Pro. With a lot of buzz around the new ‘flagship killer’, the latest AnTuTu scores have upped the ante even more.
Building on top of its aggressive promotion against OnePlus, the company has announced its newest accomplishment on Twitter. The Redmi K20 Pro has attained an AnTuTu score of 388,803, becoming the world’s fastest smartphone.
While we can’t totally rely on the initial AnTuTu scores, although it could still mean that we can expect good performance from the smartphone.
For reference, the OnePlus 7 Pro currently leads the Antutu chart with an overall score of 373953 points. But the numbers are for the month of May so the K20 is not on the list.

As a reminder, the Redmi K20 Pro has a 20MP pop-up camera as its highlight, due to which it can pack 6.39-inch FHD+ edge-to-edge display.
The back has a 3D glass-build and sports three cameras; a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom, and a 13MP wide-angle lens.
Like the OnePlus flagship, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. It comes in four RAM/ROM configurations: 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB.
The smartphone gets its fuel from a 4,000mAh battery, supports 27W fast charging and runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
Additionally, the Redmi K20 comes with Game Turbo 2.0, an eight-layer liquid cooling, drop protection mechanism, and the ability to customize the pop-up camera sound when it pops up or goes back to its resting place.
However, the USP of Xiaomi’s device is its price point. With the new lineup, the company wants to repeat its history, just like it did for the Poco F1.
