As per the extensive display analysis by DisplayMate, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+’s dual-edge curved OLED display has seen improvements over its predecessor — the Galaxy Note 9.
Galaxy Note 10+ Display
The Galaxy Note 10+ comes with a 6.8-inch Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display and features increased picture quality and color accuracy owing to its Precision Factory Display Calibration.
The perfect calibration and display accuracy have earned the Galaxy Note 10+ the highest-ever Display Performance Grade of A+.
The display has attained 13 display performance records including Absolute Color Accuracy with a 0.4 JNCD, which denotes Visually Indistinguishable From Perfect.
Another aspect where the display scores excellently is its brightness level of 1,308 nits, which is 25% more than the Galaxy Note 9, making way for better visibility and readability.
Advantages Of OLED Displays
The report further suggests that the shift from LCD displays to OLED ones is a great move and the reason why smartphones with the latter have the best displays.
The OLED display panels offer various advantages such as a thin size, lightweight, minimal bezels for an edge-to-edge display experience, better viewing angles, and more.
Galaxy Note 10+ Has Best Cameras Too
While the display is the best aspect of the Galaxy Note 10+, another attractive feature is the camera, as told by DxOMark. Galaxy Note 10+’s 5G variant has the best camera, as for now at least, according to DxOMark.
The Galaxy Note 10+ 5G has attained the DxOMark score of 113, which is the highest, surpassing the score of the Huawei P30 Pro. It has a score of 118 for photos and a score of 101 for videos. Additionally, it received a selfie score of 99.
DxOMark’s score indicates that Galaxy Note 10+ 5G has accurate exposure, wide dynamic range, neutral white balance, and high levels of saturation. However, the smartphone has noise issues that can be seen in low-light shots.
To recall, the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G has four cameras at the back; a 12MP primary camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12MP telephoto camera, and a 3D depth sensor. The front snapper is rated at 10MP.
